Dr. Luna is an assistant professor in the Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering (IMSE) department at the University of Texas at El Paso. His research focuses on the intersection between data science, systems engineering, and strategic decision-making. Other areas of interest include social media use during disaster response and Model-Based Systems Engineering.
