Darryl Farber is a professor in the College of Engineering and the School of International Affairs at Penn State University. His scholarship focuses on strategic foresight and analysis of sociotechnical, engineering systems for interdependent critical infrastructure. He serves on the editorial board of Systems Engineering journal and on the executive committee of the Council of Engineering Systems Universities. Dr. Farber also has served on the board of the Society for Philosophy and Technology and as a co-founder of Carbon Trap Technologies, LP. He is a graduate with honors of Cornell University and a graduate of Penn State University and served as a postdoctoral fellow with the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, Harvard Kennedy School. Additionally, he has served as a project associate-visiting lecturer in public policy at the National University of Singapore.
