William Miller is Industry Professor and Regional Program Director in the School of Systems and Enterprises at Stevens Institute of Technology. Mr. Miller has more than thirty years technical and management experience in commercial telecommunications and government communications systems. He has managed projects funded by Bell Laboratories, AT&T, Army and Navy development commands, and other government organizations. He has successfully performed resource allocation, prioritization of R&D, strategic planning, concept development, technology development, requirements definition, system modeling, system architecture & design, system acquisition, system development, system integration, system test, and controlled introduction of systems & services. Bill’s twenty years at Bell Laboratories have spanned both commercial telecommunications services and government communications systems. He has 5 years experience at AT&T as product manager in business communications services and program manager for development and service deployment of fixed wireless technology.
Bill has ten years experience as an independent consultant, applying systems engineering, architecting and systems integration principles to the solution of commercial and government engineering problems, particularly in the areas of concept development and technology development.
