Dr. John M. Colombi
Air Force Institute of Technology
Dr. John M. Colombi is a member of the SERC Research Council, providing guidance in the Trusted Systems focus area, as well as a SERC researcher. Dr.Columbi is also an Associate Professor and the Program Chair of the Systems Engineering program at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT). He has 30 years of Air Force experience in developmental engineering, program management and academia. His research interests include systems and enterprise architecture, complex adaptive systems, optimized modeling and simulation, and human systems integration. Dr. Colombi is a member of the International Council on Systems Engineering and IEEE. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and his M.S. with distinction in Electrical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Cum Laude, AFROTC DG) from the University of Lowell.
