Mr. Dullen is a Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC) Doctoral fellow pursuing his PhD in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, a M. Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a MS in Applied Statistics form Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). His current research interests are product development, set-based design, multidisciplinary optimization, optimal tolerance design under uncertainty, and Bayesian networks.
Mr. Dullen works for the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center (CCDC AC) with 18 years of experience working different aspects of the DOD life cycle as a Quality Engineer and Systems Engineer. He is currently the CCDC AC Key Parameter Development and Management (KPD&M) lead. The focus of KPD&M is to develop innovative resilient systems that are robust to all operational conditions. The process efficiently evaluates the design by focusing on the physics rather than symptoms of failure and gathers the technical information required to produce high quality and lows cost products with sufficient design margin.
