Wednesday – October 5, 2011
University of Maryland
Marriott Inn and Convention Center
Hyattsville, MD
The Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC) held the SERC Sponsor Research Review on October 5, 2011 at the University of Maryland, MD. The SSRR focused on a high-level review of key SERC research objectives, outcomes, and transition opportunities, in addition to identifying new sponsor needs and how SERC systems research can solve them. Input and feedback was sought from the SERC sponsor community. The program consisted of an afternoon session and an evening open house and poster session. Members of the Systems Engineering community attended, including sponsors, collaborators, FFRDCs, industry, and SERC doctoral fellows. In addition, time was allotted in the morning preceding the Open House to hold the SERC Government Executive Advisory Board Meeting.
