As we are all more than a year into this global pandemic, we are interested in learning your thoughts on the impact onto the field of Systems Engineering and you as a professional at this point in time. The overall survey results will provide critical insights into the impact of COVID-19 on the broader systems engineering community.
WHO IS RUNNING THE SURVEY?
The Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC) invites you to complete this survey about the impact of COVID-19.
WHY SHOULD I PARTICIPATE?
The overall results will provide critical insights into the impact COVID-19 has had and continues to have on the broader systems engineering community.
HOW LONG IS THE SURVEY?
The survey should take about 10-15 minutes to complete.
HOW WILL MY DATA BE USED?
Data from the survey will be stored by Survey Monkey and SERC. The final anonymized dataset (no individually or organizationally identifying information) will be retained by the SERC. Conclusions drawn from the results of the survey will be submitted for publication.
HOW WILL MY DATA BE PROTECTED?
Protecting your data is important to SERC. We do not share your data with third parties. We follow generally accepted standards to protect the data submitted to us, both during transmission and once it is received. Your data will be stored in a private database that can only be accessed by authorized SERC researchers.

DOES THIS SURVEY LOOK FAMILIAR?
In 2020, SERC and INCOSE distributed a similar survey to analyze the “Impacts of COVID-19-related Work-at-Home Policies on Systems Engineers and the General Population.” A paper is currently under review in the journal Systems Engineering.
Results from the initial survey were also presented in November of 2020 at the SERC Sponsor Research Review. The video of this presentation is available HERE.

This survey is currently closed.
COMPLETION DEADLINE:
