Through SERC’s Acquisition Innovation Research Center, Dr. Head guides the University of Arizona chapter of the Defense Civilian Training Corps pilot program, drawing on his 30-plus years of academic and industry experience to prepare DCTC scholars for civilian careers with the Department of Defense. He has served numerous roles in university leadership, including as department head, interim dean, interim provost, and director of Arizona’s Transportation Research Institute.
