Dr. Panchal has worked on SERC research projects involving enhanced test and evaluation of learning-based systems and autonomous intelligent agents in satellite systems, and on additive manufacturing, intellectual property, and model-based tools for portfolio management for SERC’s Acquisition Innovation Research Center. As a professor, he leads the Design Engineering Laboratory at Purdue (DELP), which focuses on fundamental and applied research on complex systems design and addresses challenges arising from the interplay between technology, human behavior, and security.
