SERC UPDATES – April 2023

Apr 21, 2023

Dear Colleagues,

A busy Spring is underway for the SERC network. It kicked off with the 20th CSER, and we extend congratulations to Dr. Donna Rhodes and Dr. Alejandro Salado for earning best paper awards at the conference. We recently held a productive workshop on Agile development of hardware-reliant systems. This week, I was honored to give the keynote speech at the IEEE SysCon in Vancouver.

The research highlights below show our efforts in digital transformation, STEM workforce development, and more. I would also like to note what Dr. Peter Beling said in his researcher profile: “The SERC network has provided me with the longest-lasting and deepest collaborations of my career.” It is encouraging to see our growing team come together to apply systems engineering toward a greater impact. Thank you for engaging with us, and please enjoy this issue of the SERC Updates.

Sincerely,
Dinesh Verma
Executive Director
