IEEE SysCon 2023

April 17 @ 8:00 am - April 20 @ 12:00 pm PDT

  • « Conference on Systems Engineering Research (CSER) 2023
  • Agile Development of Hardware-Reliant Systems: An Interactive Workshop »

The 17th Annual IEEE International Systems Conference will take place at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, Canada from April 17-20, 2023. The IEEE Systems Council facilitates interactions among communities of interest on system-level problems and applications. System-level thinking is essential in the world today, not only for technical systems, but also for society at large. The Council addresses the discipline of systems engineering, including theory, technology, methodology, and applications of complex systems, system-of-systems, and integrated systems of national and global significance.

Transitioning from DE Strategy and Research into Implementation: Enablers and Challenges

This talk will focus on the recent research within the Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC) towards supporting the transitioning of the Digital Engineering strategic intent into pragmatic reality – and the remaining challenges, particularly within an organizational construct that is epitomized by decentralized governance and heterogeneity.  It will also introduce the audience to the Archimedes Initiative – a loose collaboration between four research centers in Europe and the US.
