The 5th International Conference on Design Engineering and Science (ICDES 2020) is an annual conference aimed at scientists, scholars, engineers and students from universities all around the world and the industry to present ongoing research activities, and hence to foster research relations between the universities and the industry. ICDES 2020 is organized by Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers, with the following technical sponsors: Loughborough University, Gent University, IQS, South China University of Technology and other organizations. The conference will be hosted in Shenzhen, China during Feb. 27-29, 2020, in conjunction with International Conference on Mechanical, Manufacturing, Modeling and Mechatronics (IC4M 2020).
