Dr. Bowlds’ leadership roles in the Air Force include commanding the Electronic Systems Center at Hanscom Air Force Base and the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. His technical experience includes serving as a flight test engineer on the F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter, as avionics program manager on the B-2 bomber, and as a chief in the Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) joint program office.
