Intelligent defense systems’ underlying technologies of artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning are new technologies that closely align with the research initiative at CCDC, and the future digital engineering strategy of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OUSD).
This research on “Intelligent Defense systems” (IDS) addresses the needs of the United States (US) Army research, development and engineering command (RDECOM) in particular the combat capabilities development command (CCDC) armament center of the army future command in Picatinny, New Jersey. CCDC research consists of a set of intelligent algorithms, technologies, hardware and software systems that armaments engineers would use in a research and development program.
