SUMMARY:NPS Acquisition Research Symposium and Innovation Summit 2027
DESCRIPTION:This year’s prestigious event has the overarching theme of “Delivering Warfighting Capability” and is sponsored by the Acquisition Research Program (ARP)\, the Department of Acquisition\, Finance & Manpower (DAFM)\, NPS\, and the Naval Postgraduate School Foundation (NPSF). \nThe 24th Annual Acquisition Research Symposium & Innovation Summit brings together academic researchers\, acquisition professionals\, industry representatives\, and defense leaders for two days of dialogue intended to inform acquisition policy and support modernization efforts. \nThe event will examine how the defense acquisition ecosystem can improve readiness\, deter adversaries\, and deliver operationally relevant capability at the speed and scale needed. Topics include revitalizing the defense industrial base\, reforming acquisition processes\, accelerating the transition of emerging technologies\, and increasing the capacity to field and sustain solutions. \nThe Call for Papers & Panels is due on November 17\, 2026.
